The Prior of Kenilworth requests letters of pardon for John de Coventry, stating that Coventry, one of the canons of his house, lately put aside his habit and, taking with him certain goods and chattels of the house and £10 taken from the chamber of Dextre, a guest at the house, left the priory. He has since been found at Oxford, arrested and returned to the priory to be punished according to their rules.
