Nature of endorsement
[on face] This bill was granted by the king at Great Haywood on 21 February in his twenty-second year.
Places mentioned
[Market] Bosworth, [Leicestershire]
Lincoln diocese
Langford (Langford Ecclesia), [Oxfordshire]
Lincoln, [Lincolnshire]
Eccleshall, [Staffordshire]
Lichfield, [Staffordshire]
St Martin le Grand, London

People mentioned
John Barnet, clerk
John Bacon, formerly dean of St Martin le Grand.
Note
Dated in the endorsement to 21 February in the king's twenty-second year, and the dating at Great Haywood clearly dates this to 1399. The village named in the petition as 'Bosworth' would seem to be Market Bosworth rather than nearby Husbands Bosworth, based on the slightly different variants employed for the two villages during the medieval period.
