Note
A note on the repair dates the petition to c. 1462, with reference to a pardon issued to the petitioner on 20 May 1462 along with his restoration to all his estate in Ireland. Moreover, the petition clearly refers to the earl of Desmond as the Duke of Clarence's deputy in Ireland, which would date it to some point between 16 May 1462 and April 1463. The petition makes a number of references to 'Sir Robert', but the identity of this man is unclear.
