This portion came void by Scampston's death and was taken by Kyllome who was put in corporal possession by the executors of his bulls long before 29 January in the thirteenth year of the King's reign [1390], and remained in possession until Ryall, falsely suggesting to the King that it was of his gift, was given collation, on the strength of which the bishop of Durham accepted, instituted, inducted and put him in corporal possession and ejected the petitioner.
