Fitz Wauter requests that whereas he was staying in London at the King's pleasure, during which time Foot, his bailiff for the hundred of Diss, through the malicious plotting of men of the same region, was indicted before the justices of the peace for Norfolk for felonies and other crimes, on which indictment Hemyngham, Foot's enemy, has imprisoned him at Norwich gaol and will not grant him bail, that the indictment be made void and Foot released from gaol, and that a special commission, consisting of Lord Morley and the justices of the peace in Norfolk, enquire into this matter.
