Dynham requests that whereas on the Wednesday after St Mathias in the twentieth year of Richard II [1397] he bound himself to the King in 1000 marks to be levied on his lands and chattels in England, to keep the peace towards Philip, abbot of Hartland and others of the King's people, for which la Pomeray, Prideaux, Ashe and Stantorre pledged for him in £200 each, that the King release him and his pledges from these obligations and grant him pardon.
