Scarclif and Gascoigne request justice since they and John, late baron de la Warr were seised of the manor of Billingborough and all the lands late of Marmion in Bourne of the feoffment of Airmyn and Palmer, to the end that they should enfeoff Thomas, Earl of Kent, Alice, his wife, and their heirs of the same, but they continued their seisin without making the feoffment until they were removed by Asplion and Paraunt by an inquisition which found that the petitioners and others were enfeoffed in fee simple of the manor of Billingborough and the lands in Bourne to the use of Thomas, late Earl of Kent, the son, long before he rose in insurrection. The late earl also took the profits of the manor.
