Redrys requests that whereas he is charged with £56 in the Exchequer for 12 tuns of uncustomed wine which he arrested at Gloucester, which, while he went to the treasurer of England to know his will concerning the same, was stolen from the cellars where he stored it by officers of the Duke of Gloucester who put the wine in Gloucester castle, that the King grant a commission to the sheriff of Gloucester and Oliver to enquire into who took the wine and to whose profit, so that the sheriff of Bristol and the petitioner can be discharged of the same.
