Sotheron requests that the justiciar and treasurer of Ireland and the mayor and bailiffs of Dublin be ordered to return his wife Joan to him. She was captured by Eustace in the petitioner's castle of Dangan and subsequently recovered by Stanley who handed her over to Berle and Cusack for safekeeping. He also requests that Eustace, Berle and Cusack be arrested to answer for their actions before the King and council.
