Nature of request
The countess and Darcy request that the king order a supersedeas to the justices before whom the earl of Lancaster has brought an assize of novel disseisin for the moiety of the manor of Wyresdale, that they not proceed to take the assize as the countess and Darcy only hold by grant of the king. They also request that the chancellor be commanded to renew their patents, and save to them their terms in the moiety, and the reversion to the king.
