- The petition dates to 1358 as the privy seal warrant with which it was formerly enclosed dates to 28 February 1358 [32 Edw. III] (C 81/373/23722). Letters of the privy seal also closely connected to this petition are dated to 11 November 1357, and also refer to a petition of this petitioner (C 81/908/15).
