The petition dates to 1349 as the privy seal warrant with which it was probably formerly enclosed dates to 30 April 1349 [23 Edw. III] (C 81/337/20145). The order was made to the abbot and convent of St Mary's on 27 June 1349 (CCR 1349-54, p.86).
