- The abbot requests that the chancellor be commanded to do justice to the abbot for the salvation of his free chapel of Westminster whereof he is custodian notwithstanding pleas before this time pleaded between the king and the abbot or pending in court, and if the chancellor cannot act that a commission be granted to the justices of the quarrel to hear and determine the same.
