Malewayn requests that the king writ to the chancellor that he is able to prove by inquisition of good people of Faversham or of Kent that he had no intention of exporting the wool that he had bought from Aldon abroad, but only to bring it to London. The wool was seized by those commissioned to arrest wool that had not been cocketed.
