[The petition is very fragmentary and the sense is not recoverable. The petition probably relates to an entry on the patent roll whereby Bradeston was granted custody of the manors of Cheltenham and Slaughter in Gloucestershire, which were held by the abbot of Fecamp, as the sums granted to Bradeston to be paid by the proctor of the abbot for these manors were in arrears].
