The warrant is dated to 26 March. The dating of the year is more problematic as the guard note dates the petition to? 1347 with a patent roll reference to 'Pat R p.257', but none of the patent roll volumes in the whole decade of the 1340s has any relevant entry on p.257 or any other page so that the dating to? 1347 must be treated with great care.
