Lychefeld requests remedy as he took a Scottish prisoner at the battle of Durham to hold to ransom, but Eure has wrongfully taken him for a higher ransom without Lychefeld's consent. He also shows that Eure holds Rammesey, another prisoner, to ransom against the king's wishes.

Let the matter be enquired of . . . and to the party, the letter is made to the chancellor on the 10th day of April.
