Nature of request
Shutlyngdon requests remedy concerning a suit between the king and the prior for the advowson and the fourth part of the tithes of the church of St Dunstan's, and alleges that the prior has caused a suspicious jury to be selected, and that there can be a jury of the neighbourhood and that a writ of nisi prius be commanded for their liberty since Shutlyngdon is greatly troubled and put to cost because of the business.
