Nature of request
Arnaud requests that the king give him compensation against Coche and Congr' and their goods wherever they are found in the duchy of Guyenne to the amount of the damages that they inflicted on him and his ship and merchandises. The king wrote to the bishop and chapter there, but the lieutenant replied confirming that Coche and Congr' were of St Malo, but he would do nothing else, and Arnaud is too poor to pursue the matter further.
