Stenberghe requests that the king will hear and take consideration of the great losses that he and his fellow merchants have suffered, as their ship came ashore entire in the abbot's vill of Hornsea Beck, but the bailiff and people came and broke into the ship and carried away the cargo of herrings. Simon le Bastard went to the abbot but has had no satisfaction.
