- Drayton requests the grant of the bailiwick of Brigstock and Geddington for the term of his life, the bailiwick lying in the forest of Rockingham, this being in recompense for the great losses he incurred after he was suddenly removed from the farm of the castle of Rockingham on which he had made great expenditure. He requests that he can also pasture his animals in the bailiwick and take wood for fuel for his manor of Drayton.

- The petition dates to 1331 as the privy seal warrant with which it was formerly enclosed dates to 23 January 1331 [4 Edw. III] (C 81/178/4289). The requests were granted on 24 January 1331 (CPR 1330-4, p.53).
