Nature of request
Daundon requests remedy as he and his ancestors were accustomed to receive a rent from land in Howth which Adam de Howth held of the king's father, Daundon being seised of the same rent until he was disseised in the time of the king's father. To prevent Daundon's recovery of the same by assise of novel disseisin Howth alienated part of the land to his son without licence and the same was taken into the king's hand, and the justices will not continue with the assise.
