- The petition dates to 1336 as the secret seal warrant in which the petition was enclosed dates to 1 September 1336 [10 Edw. III], and a memorandum of the mainpernors was enrolled on the patent rolls on 22 November 1336 (C 81/1330/28; CCR 1333-7, p.706).
