The dean requests that it be certified to him which orders of the king he should obey in the matter of Richard de Seyn Leger's restoration to the archdeaconry of Dublin as he restored him in accordance with the king's order under his privy seal, but has since been imprisoned by Bereford for acting in contradiction of the king's orders under his seal of Ireland.
