Description

These special apportionments and deeds of special charge from the Tithe Commissioners and its successors deal mainly with the apportionment of liability for chancel repairs and the payment of clerical stipends.

These instruments were confirmed by the Tithe Commissioners and their successors under the Tithe Act 1839, ss. 2 and 4.
