He has discussed with the officers at Chatham about removing the nuisance of the double dock and this is partly remedied by making a dam in the middle to keep the water back in the upper part, but the officers believe half of the use of the dock will be lost and gives details. He is ready to tender for removing the nuisance, expecting no payment until the task is finished.
