Devon: Plymouth: Plymouth Dock (now Devonport). (36) 'Plan, Section and Elevation of the New Works carrying on at the South Basen of y e Gunwharf under the direction of Major Dixon Chief Engineer'. Shows work completed and work remaining to be done. Reference table to anchors, drains, structural works. Scale: 1 inch to 40 feet [1:480]. (37) 'Plan and Sections of the intended Reservoir at the Gunwharf Plymouth'. Scale: 1 inch to 5 feet [1:60]. (38-39) One drawing on two sheets (originally joined): 'Plan, Elevation and Section of that part of the Rock now excavating with a proposed Forge and Workshop for the Armourer, and also a Reservoir and Drains ... for the use of the Gunwharf under the direction of Major Dixon Chief Engineer Plymouth'. Reference table to works. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]. (40) 'Plan of the Field at Keyham Point with a general Plan of the Magazines, Cooperages, Canal and Boundary Wall as proposed by Major Dixon Chief Engineer Plymouth Division'. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet [1:100]. (41) 'Section through the Area of the Envelope of the Magazines to the Pier-head of the Canal Shewing Elevations of one Store magazine, One side of the Boundary Wall and Canal with a Section of the Shifting Magazine at Keyham Point by Major Dixon Chief Engineer'. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. (42) 'Plans, Elevations and Sections of the Powder Magazines, Cooperages and Boundary Wall intended to be erected at Keyham Point by Major Dixon Chief Engineer'. Originally filed with papers of 1775 relating to the works.
