(10) 'Plan of the Breach occasioned by the fall of the Rock at Quebec'. Scale: 1 inch to 50 feet [1:300]. (13) 'Sections on the breach ...'. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. Both drawn by Frederick Towers, Lieutenant 23rd Fusiliers, Assistant Royal Engineer. Signed by Lieutenant R J Nelson, Commanding Royal Engineer, to accompany his report of 30 June 1841 on the landslip at Quebec, in which he discusses Major Baron's proposal for dealing with the avalanche. Dimensions of sheets: (10) 28 cm x 45 cm; (13) 45 cm x 137.5cm.
