Description

(8) 'Plan of the Breach occasioned by the fall of the Rock at Cape Diamond. Quebec'. Scale 1 inch to 50 feet [1:600]. (9, 11) Two sheets of sections. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. Each sheet (signed) Major R J Baron, Royal Engineers, 5 June 1841. Copied by Richard Burnaby, Lieutenant, Royal Engineers, 3 July 1841. The drawings relate to a proposal by Major Baron for dealing with the avalanche. Dimensions of sheets: (8) 29 cm x 37.5 cm; (9) 57.5 cm x 46 cm; (11) 46 cm x 57.5 cm.
