Lower Canada: Ottawa River (north bank). Plan: 'Compiled sketch showing the number and situation of the Locks on the Grenville, Chuteà Blondeau and Carrillon Canals, as called for in the Board's letter of 2 nd Sept r 1835'. Reference table. In the lower right corner is a memorandum correcting the number of locks shown on the Carillon Canal. Originally drawn to accompany letter of 12 September 1836 from Lieutenant Colonel C G Ellicombe, Commanding Royal Engineer, to R Byham, Secretary to the Board of Ordnance.
