Signed by P J Bainbrigge, Lieutenant Royal Engineers, 7 August 1840; and by Lieutenant Colonel J Oldfield, Commanding Royal Engineer in Canada, 12 August 1840, to accompany estimate for the defensible barrack in Montreal.
