Twelve sheets of drawings of works at St John's, Quebec, (now in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada) originally made to accompany estimate and letter number 69 of 15 April 1841 from Lieutenant Colonel J Oldfield, Commanding Royal Engineer. (3) No1: 'Plan of proposed Redoubt A. in advance of the restored works S t Johns. Canada as referred to in the letter of the Inspector Gen l of Fortifications dated 31 st Dec r 1840 N o 1762'. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet [1:1,200]. Compass indicator. Signed by Lieutenant S Westmacott, Royal Engineers, 31 March 1841. (4) No 2: plan of proposed Redoubt Platform.
