Compass indicator. Signed by Lieutenant R Hawthorn, Royal Engineers, 15 June 1855. Annotated: 'To accompany the Letter to the Inspector General of Fortifications, dated 15 th June 1855'; signed Lieutenant Colonel Montgomery Williams, Royal Engineers.
