Australia: New South Wales: Sydney Harbour (or Port Jackson). (30) Plan showing the sites of existing and proposed defence works. Reference note. Approximate scale: 1 inch to 880 yards [1:31,680]. Signed Lieutenant Colonel J A Gordon, Commanding Royal Engineer, to accompany his report of 17 June 1845. (31) Similar version of (30). Compass indicator. Annotated: 'Items 3 and 4'; and 'To accompany Annual Estimate 1847-8'. Signed Lieutenant Colonel Gordon, 1 June 1846. (35) Similar version of (30). Annotated: 'Copy'; and 'To accompany Commanding Royal Engineer's Report dated 9 th March 1847, forwarded in compliance with Colonial Secretary's Letter dated 2 nd March 1847. Signed Lieutenant Colonel J Gordon, Commanding Royal Engineer, 9 March 1847. (76) Similar version of (30); signed Lieutenant Colonel Gordon, 23 November 1848.
