New South Wales: Sydney: Parish of St Phillip. (21) Plan of Dawes Point showing land to be granted to the Ordnance Department. Reference notes. Copied from an original survey by Assistant Surveyor Townsend, sent to the Surveyor General's Office with the description of a deed of grant dated 20 May 1844. Copied by S A Perry, Deputy Surveyor General, 18 February 1846. (22) Plan of Dawes Battery. Approximate scales: (21) 1 inch to 2 chains; and (22) 1 inch to 50 feet. Compass indicators. Both signed Lieutenant Colonel J A Gordon, Commanding Royal Engineer, to accompany his report of 28 February 1846. Dimensions: (21) 39 cm x 30 cm (22) 54 cm x 57 cm.
