Alderney. Plans showing main features of coastline and batteries. (17) 'N o 1': plan of Clonque Rock and Battery. (18) 'N o 2': plan of Doyles Battery. (19) 'N o 3': plan of Bibette Point. (20) 'N o 4': plan of the grounds at Chateau a l'Etoc and Vaux Trembliers. (21) 'N o 5': plan of Quenard Point Battery. (22) 'N o 6': plan of Longy Lines and Rat Island. Scales: 1 inch to 200 feet. (19)-(22) With compass indicators. All except (18) signed Lieutenant F C Hassard, Royal Engineers, 16 July 1850. All annotated: 'To accompany my letter dated 16 th July 1850'; signed by Lieutenant Colonel P Barry, Commanding Royal Engineer Guernsey.
