(8C) 'Jersey S t Catherine's Harbour': plan of the bay from Nez du Guet to Mont Orgueil Castle showing land purchased for defence works and land yet to be purchased, with the names of landowners. Scale: 1 inch to 550 feet [1:6,600]. (8D) 'Jersey Harbour of Refuge at S t Catherine's Bay Plan for Commencing Works': plan of the bay from Verclut Point to La Crete, showing land purchased and yet to be purchased for defence works and proposed breakwaters. Approximate scale: 3 inches to 800 feet [1:3,200]. Both with compass indicators. Plans annotated: numbers 1 and 2 and signed by Lieutenant Colonel C O Streatfield, Commanding Royal Engineer, to accompany his letter of 2 October 1847. Dimensions: (8C) 99.5 cm x 35 cm; (8D) 76 cm x 65 cm.
