Dumfriesshire (now in Dumfries and Galloway) and Lanarkshire (now partly South Lanarkshire). Ordnance Survey six-inch County Series Second Edition Dumfriesshire sheets: surveyed 1856-1859; revised 1896-1898; heliozincographed from 1:2500 and 1:10,560 plans and published at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, 1900. (2) Sheet VII.NE and part of Lanarkshire sheet XLIX. (3) Sheet VII.NW and part of Lanarkshire sheet XLIX. (4) Sheet VII.SW. (5) Sheet VII.SE and parts of Lanarkshire sheets XLIX, L, LII and LIII. (6) Sheet XIV.NW. (7) Sheet XIV.SE and parts of Lanarkshire sheets LIII and LIV. (8) Sheet XIV.NE and parts of Lanarkshire sheets LII and LIII. (9) Sheet XXII.NE. (10) Sheet XXIII.NW and part of Lanarkshire sheet LIV. All with coloured MS additions to show boundary of War Department property; and MS initialled: 'W.C'.
