Lanarkshire (now partly South Lanarkshire), Dumfriesshire (now in Dumfries and Galloway) and Peebleshire (now in Scottish Borders): Lowther Hills. Ordnance Survey one-inch First Edition Scotland parts of sheets 15 and 16 combined: engraved under the direction of Colonel J Cameron, Royal Engineers; published at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, [1868-1874]. Coloured MS additions show War Department property. MS ink annotation: 'Scotland Parts of Sheets 15 & 16'; and in pencil: 'Dumfries & Lanarkshire' and 'Office Set'.
