Ordnance Survey of Ireland six-inch First Edition County Cork sheets: originally surveyed 1841-1842; engraved under the direction of Captain Larcom, 1844; and first published at the Ordnance Survey Office, Phoenix Park, Dublin, August 1845. Photozincographed, with narrow interval contours superimposed, under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel R M Parsons at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, [c.1875]. All with printed annotation: 'For War Department purposes only'. (12)-(13) Sheet CXII. (14)-(15) Sheet XCVIII. (16)-(17) and (20)-(21) Sheet LXXXVI; contoured except for the top one sixth of the sheet. (18)-(19) Sheet CXIII. All the sheets appear to be photozincographed from composite proof plans upon which the adjoining topographical and contour detail has been merged.
