(1) 'Proposed Boundaries in front of the Works at Portsmouth &c; a Received from M: Gen l [Major General] Fisher 5 th October 1812': plan of the defences of Portsea and Portsmouth, showing the boundaries extant and of the land proposed to be purchased in 1774 and 1781. Scale: 1 inch to 200 feet. (2) Similar version to (1), also showing new building in the Docks. Reference table. Copied by John Adams, 21 October 1812. Annotated: 'Drawn to accompany Lieut t Gen l [Lieutenant General] Mann's letter to Mr Crew ...'; 13 October 1812. Dimensions: (1) 55.4 cm x 114.6 cm; (2) 55.4 cm x 117.1 cm.
