Scales: approximate horizontal scale for plans and section: 1 inch to 2.5 chains [1:1980]; vertical scale of section: 1 inch to 50 feet [1:600]. Compass indicator. True copy, signed [?H F MacNamara, Clerk of Works, RN], 14 December 1864. Annotated: 'To accompany CRE's [Commanding Royal Engineer's] letter 17 Dec 1864...'; signed Colonel A H Freeling, Commanding Royal Engineer.
