Suffolk. 'Plan of Langer [or Landguard] Fort Shewing the Old Works and the New ...'. Reference note. Scale: 1 inch to 8 chains. Compass indicator. Annotations: 'The plan referred to by the annexed Deed (Signed) George Nassaw'; 'NB This plan is a tracing from a facsimile of the Plan attached to the lease. The continuous lake [colour] line represents presumed boundary 1797. The vermilion dots marked T 1 &c; situ of pickets placed by Colonel Tomline and representing the boundary as now claimed by him'; signed Lieutenant Colonel F E Cox, Royal Engineers, 26 July 1873. Scale corrected and initialled S B Howlett, Royal Military Surveyor and Draughtsman.
