Signed Major E D Malcolm, Royal Engineers, for Commander Royal Engineers, North Britain, January 1878; and Colonel John Y Moggridge, Commander Royal Engineers North Britain, 21 January 1878. Coloured MS additions show land purchased and leased by the War Department in Stornoway Harbour.
