Ordnance Survey six-inch County Series Scotland Edinburghshire [Midlothian] sheet 12: surveyed, 1852; contoured, 1853; engraved 1853; published, 30 June 1854. Signed Staff Sergeant William Aylward, Royal Engineers, 11 June 1877; and Major E D Malcolm, Royal Engineers, for Commander Royal Engineers North Britain, 11 June 1877. Initialled: [?W m J O], Technical Draughtsman, revised to 1 June 1878. Coloured MS reference note and additions show land purchased and leased land surrendered by the War Department at Greenlaw Barracks.
