Devon: Devonport. 'Plan of the Government ground at Mount Wise, shewing the communication from the Glacis to Richmond Walk, by the Stairs marked X; which stairs are requested to be lighted up by the Board of Ordnance'. Scale: 1 inch to 150 feet. Compass indicator. Signed by Major General George Whitmore, Commanding Royal Engineer. Originally accompanied a report on the request by Mr Rodd, sent from the Ordnance officers at Devonport to the Inspector General of Fortifications, 7 February 1837.
