1 item extracted from WO 55/1562/1. Straits Settlements. 'Map to accompany report of Commission on the Defences of Singapore ...': covering Pulau Blakang Mati (now Sentosa), Pulau Brani, and part of Singapore town in the environs of Keppel Harbour, showing the ranges of gunfire from Mount Faber and Mount Palmer, a proposed battery at Tanjong Katong, and soundings. Scale: 1 inch to 425 yards. Compass indicator. Signed by Lieutenant Colonel J H Freeth, Royal Engineers, 28 January 1864. A note states that the map is based on Admiralty charts and on surveys by Mr Thomson.
