(4) Plan of part of Chester Castle, showing the City walls; land owned by the Ordnance and proposed to be taken into the gaol precincts; proposed new boundary wall; land to be disposed of for wharfs etc. Scale: 1 inch to 60 feet. Initialled by J S Kitson. (5) 'Section shewing the fall of ground from the Castle Ditch through the land lately purchased by the County in Skinners Street to the River Dee'. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet. Both originally drawn to accompany Captain Kitson's report of 7 December 1830. Dimensions of sheets: (4) 46 cm x 69 cm; (5) 45 cm x 72 cm.
