(14) 'Plan of the Defences at the Mouth of Portsmouth Harbour accompanied by Six Sections of the existing Works'. Shows soundings, high and low water marks. Notes on armaments at Round Tower and Blockhouse Fort. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator. Signed by G Burt, Captain, Royal Engineers, November 1838. Both signed by G Graydon, Lieutenant Colonel, Commanding Royal Engineer, to accompany his letter of 7 December 1838. Dimensions of sheets: (12) 27 cm x 86 cm; (14) 43 cm x 103 cm.
