Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator. Drawn by R Howe, Clerk of Works, Royal Engineer Office, Hythe, 17 November 1847. Signed by Alexander Gordon, Captain, Royal Engineers, 17 November 1847. Initialled by W B Tylden, Lieutenant Colonel, Commanding Royal Engineer, to accompany his letter of 19 November 1847. (16) Sketch plan showing Ordnance land, neighbouring landowners, [Coastguard] cottages, access road. Compass indicator. Dimensions of sheets: (15) 32 cm x 52 cm; (16) 20 cm x 32 cm.
